The Osoyoos Potters are holding an exhibition of members’ work at The Art Gallery Osoyoos, and judging by the opening on Saturday, the three-week show should be a popular one.

The show officially opened on Saturday, Oct. 5 and runs until Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024. An Opening Reception Preview Night was held on Friday, Oct. 4.

The potters have long been an active part of the Osoyoos arts community and a member organization of the Osoyoos and District Arts Council (ODAC).

They work together to share ideas and mutually learn and assist one another in the friendly setting of the Pottery Studio. This studio is located behind the gallery on the lower level of the Osoyoos Arts Centre, and it is equipped with two wheels, two kilns, and a variety of glazes and tools.

Some members also use their own studios for their work.

Workshops are conducted through the year.

The gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is located at 8713 Main St. in Osoyoos, B.C., just west of Town Hall.
