“Spark Joy” is an exhibition by two local artists, Carollyne Sinclaire and Pamela Duncan, which opens Oct. 8, 2022 at The Art Gallery Osoyoos and runs until Oct. 29.
Duncan leans toward landscapes and paints with both oil and acrylic. Sinclaire is more whimsical, with paintings of objects ranging from donuts to candy bars and flowers, and she usually paints in acrylic, but also in oil.
Duncan paints in plein air. She’s a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) and Artists on Main.
Sinclaire has lived in Osoyoos, but now lives in Oliver. She’s also a member of the FCA.
The Art Gallery Osoyoos is located at 8713 Main Street, Osoyoos, just west of Town Hall. It is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
